Randy On The Road is written by a traveler. Please check out the various categories of blog posts.
I currently live in Cornville, Arizona. I am located between Sedona and Jerome, Arizona. The picture above is looking down on Sedona from the Mogollon Rim in north central Arizona. In the distance to the south is Mingus Mountain where Jerome is found half way up the slope. My house is at the base of this mountain, outside of Cottonwood.
I grew up in central Wisconsin, lived for a short time in South Carolina, spent most of my life in northern Wisconsin (where we raised our family of two sons) and owned vacation property in northern Minnesota on the edge of the Boundary Waters wilderness near Ely. After selling a successful business, we retired to Arkansas and lived near Hot Springs for eight years. Family ties have now drawn us to Arizona.
Throughout these travels, I have been married for 36 years to my supportive wife, Laurie!
I have been in one form of sales or another for my entire working life – from retail to wholesale, business-to-business, mail-order, and on the Internet. I have worked for small companies, huge companies, and owned my own company.
I have plenty of interests outside of work, including hunting, fishing, and motorcycling. Laurie and I are committed to our local church and to the command to grow the greater Church worldwide. This commitment is based on the knowledge that we are all just traveling through this world. The world is not our eternal home.
“I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.” Galatians 2:20
